In a queue, at your desk, on the way out: one message is enough.

Diary unchanged: it was only a question.
Free, with email. The diary works straight away, even before you connect an assistant.
In your assistant’s settings, add the connection, sign in and allow access to your diary. Once per assistant; you can disconnect any time.
Step-by-step guideFor example: “Log in YumiFit: 2 eggs and toast.” Your assistant tells you what it saved.
Plans: in Claude, connectors work on every plan, including Free (Free allows one custom connector). In ChatGPT it depends on your plan and country; the guide says what we checked and when.
Your diary shows what you logged. It doesn’t fill the gaps with guesses.
Estimated amounts and values carry a ≈, so you can see what’s approximate.
A day with no entries shows “No entries”, not 0 kcal. Missing macros are flagged.
Averages and the estimated balance use only the days you marked complete, and say how many there were.
Daily limit, goal and energy needs are kept apart. A flex day raises or removes the limit, and the calories still count.

Yes. No subscription, no premium tier and no ads. You need an account, and your assistant runs under your own ChatGPT or Claude plan.
Not for Claude: connectors work on every Claude plan, including Free, which allows one custom connector. For ChatGPT it depends on your plan and country, and OpenAI changes this from time to time. The connection guide lists what we checked and when.
No. YumiFit works in the browser on your phone and computer, and you can add a shortcut to your home screen. In ChatGPT or Claude you add the connection once, in settings.
As accurate as what goes in. Label values and weighed portions are the most precise; estimates from a photo or “a medium banana” are rougher and marked with ≈. You can correct any entry in one sentence or by hand.
If you ask. Your assistant can check today’s diary and say whether something fits or what simple thing to add. That’s ChatGPT or Claude answering, not a dietitian: no meal plans unless you ask for one, and no medical advice.
Yes. One account works with ChatGPT, Claude and the web app at the same time, and everything goes into the same diary.
Yes. You can add meals by hand in the app and connect an assistant whenever you like.
Only what your assistant saves to your diary, such as meals, goals and comments. We don’t see your chats and we don’t keep photos. In Settings you can download everything as a JSON file and delete your account together with the diary.
No. It’s a food diary, not medical advice, and it doesn’t promise results. It works whether you want to lose, keep or gain weight, or just see what you eat. If food or weight worries you, please talk to a doctor or dietitian.
